THIS MONTH

Feb. 5	Communion Sunday. Canned Food Collection. Souper Bowl Mission Luncheon afterwards. $5 per person.
Feb. 11	UMM Valentine's Dinner. $15 for 1, $25 for 2. 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Feb. 12	District "Listening" Session at Francis Asbury, 3 PM - 4:30.
Feb. 18	UMW Prayer and Self-Denial Breakfast, 9 AM - Noon
Feb. 19	Covered Dish Lunch after worship service. The theme is Italian!
Feb. 20	Any information for the March Newsletter must be turned in by today.
Feb. 22	Ash Wednesday Service at 6:30 PM

EVERY MONTH

1st Sunday	Holy Communion is served during worship.
1st Wednesday	Trustees Meeting at 6:30 PM in Huckaby Class.
2nd Sunday	Breakfast provided by Youth at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
2nd Tuesday	Morning Circle meets at 10 AM in Quilters Room.
2nd Wednesday	Church Council meeting at 6:30 PM in Ruth Bible Class.
2nd Saturday	United Methodist Men meet from 7:30 - 9 AM for breakfast and fellowship.
3rd Sunday	Covered Dish Lunch immediately following Worship Service; bring your tastiest dish!
3rd Wednesday	Shalom Circle meets at 6:30 PM in the Ruth Bible Class.
4th Wednesday	Friendship Book Club meets at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. In February, members are reading Carolina Mountain Song, by Dr. Anne Blythe.
4th Thursday	Inspiration Group for Senior Adults.  In February, bring a covered dish to the Fellowship Hall at 11:30. Shain Stewart will sing and entertain us.
5th Wednesday	Staff Parish Relations Committee Meeting at 6:30 PM in the Ruth Bible Class.

  EVERY WEEK

Monday	Girl Scouts meets from 6 - 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Tuesday	Quilters meet from 10 AM - 2 PM  and 7 - 9 PM in the Quilter's Hut.
Wednesday	Chapel Service with our CDC children and families at 9:15 AM in the sanctuary.
Wednesday	Bible Study from 4 - 5 PM in the Huckaby Classroom.
Wednesday	Supper from 5:30 - 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall; $6 for adults, $4 for children. Please make or cancel reservations by noon on Monday. Sign up sheet is on the door at the rear of the sanctuary, or you can call the church office at 246-4311.
Wednesday	Choir meets at 7:30 in sanctuary.
Wednesday	Youth Group meets from 6:30 - 7:30 PM.
Thursday	Quilters meet at 10 AM in Quilter's Hut.

 

PLANNING AHEAD

March 23rd & 24th - Annual Yard Sale, sponsored by United Methodist Men.   
Bring donations to the church and leave them against the back wall of the gym. If you have something that needs to be picked up, call Ronald Failor at 294-9755.

May 12 - UMW Mother/Daughter Luncheon, 11 AM. 
Guest speaker will be Dee Johnson, wife of District Superintendent Dr. Charles Johnson.
