Special Events

Quilters, Special Events Quilters, Special Events

Each year Berea Friendship holds several special events that require lots of help, from advanced planning, to set-up, to participation, to clean-up. Our Men's Garage Sale, Fall Festival, and Christmas Bazaar are always a lot of fun, as well as a wonderful way to meet many members of our community who may not have a church home. Watch this space for details about upcoming events. If you have a particular area of interest or talent, please call the church office at 864-246-4311 and let us know. We will be happy to put you to work!

GARAGE SALE - Date varies from year to year. Sponsored by United Methodist Men. Donations accepted all year long. Place your unwanted items, in good condition, at the back wall of the gym or call the church office at 246-4311 if you need something picked up. Proceeds go to the Men's Club to fund various church projects. 2010 DATES: March 19, 8 AM - 8 PM,  and March 20, 8 AM - 1 PM - Call Ron Failor at 294-9755 if you need something picked up.

FALL FESTIVAL - Held on a Saturday in October, with activities for all ages. Sponsored by the Missions Committee.
Activities typically include:
·         Kiddie rides
·         Games and skill booths
·         Trunk or Treating
·         Bingo
·         Cake Walk
·         Exciting raffles
·         Gift baskets to bid on
·         Blood donations at the Bloodmobile
 Proceeds from the Fall Festival benefit various mission projects. Donations for prizes are welcome year round; just bring your contributions to the church office. 

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
The Quilters' Annual Christmas Bazaar is always the first weekend in November. Breakfast, lunch and supper are available for purchase, along with the most tantalizing selection of homemade jams and jellies, mouthwatering baked goods, and irresistable handcrafted gifts that you'll find in all of Greenville!  Tell your friends! Bring your family! It only happens once a year; don't miss it!
