Member Visitation Team

Member Visitation Team, Jesus in the river stained glass

If you enjoy people, have some free time during the day, and have your own transportation, we invite you to share Christ's love through visiting sick and shut-in members of Berea Friendship. When you're healthy and active, it's hard to imagine how long days can be for those unable to get out and about. A brief, friendly visit can be a precious gift to someone who's lonely or coping with illness or declining health. It's also an important reminder that even though they can't be with us, they are cherished members of our church family and are not forgotten.

You may also have an opportunity to visit new or prospective members of Berea Friendship to tell them more about our church and activities and to let them know we would welcome their involvement.

Not up to making personal visits to homes, hospitals, or nursing facilities? We also need volunteers to write cards and notes letting absent members know they're in our thoughts and prayers.

Let the church office or Outreach Chairperson Lisa Nichols know if you would like to be part of our Member Visitation Team.
